Soap Making - February 23rd 2PM-4PM

In this class students will explore the cold process soap making technique incorporating a blend of oils, lye, fragrance, and other natural seasonal ingredients. All materials are provided for the class. Students will select the fragrance, color and add-ins of their choice and mix their own batch of soap. Each student will take home a wood and silicone soap mold filled with their own soap (approximately 10 bars) to be sliced, wrapped, and cured at home. NOTE: Students will be working with powdered lye during the soap making process. Respirators will be provided.
