Each hand printed textiles is unique – individually printed, one at a time, using a process that begins with carving drawings onto a pliable rubber surface which is mounted on wood to create a stamp. The stamps are then hand painted and printed onto the cloth, repeating the process over and over, layering each design to create impressions that mirror gardens, both real and imagined. The paints used are all food safe and heat set, to withstand rigorous use and repeated washing.
